King Air 200 - 300
The King Air 200 and 300 (along with their many variants) are larger versions of the King Air 90. They were originally marketed asthe Super King Air line but the “Super” designation was dropped in 1996. The King Air line has enjoyed the longest production run of any civilian turboprop aircraft, having been in continuous production since 1974. They are still very popular aircraft due to their proven ruggedness and performance.
The fuselages of the 200 and 300 are 3 to 6 feet longer than the small 90 and 100 King Air lines respectively. There are many different variants of all of these aircraft but to keep it simple the 200+ King Air’s are larger aircraft with more powerful engines, higher cabin pressure and can carry more people and cargo for longer ranges. Keep in mind that the cabin dimensions vary with the different configurations available in the King Air.
